Front Office Administrator

Bus Driver(s)

We are looking for one or more energetic, safety conscious, and "people serving" individuals, to work with our Teachers, Students, and others as a Bus Driver. Tasks may include short and extended trips involving athletic, school and other activities. This is an hourly position based on need. Previous experience working as a bus driver with a current CDL is preferred (including air brake endorsement) to match our equipment. 7TH/8TH GRADE MATH AND THEOLOGY TEACHER

EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAM: LEAD TEACHER/CURRICULUM COORDINATOR(S)

St. Joseph School is seeking a full-time, dynamic  Early Education Program Lead Teacher/Curriculum Coordinator(s). As the EEP expands and evolves, it is essential that we are preparing our pre-school aged children for the K-12 classrooms. The goal of this position is to spend this year, directly aligning the Pre-K curriculum with the K-8 curriculum so that our students have a seamless transition from EEP to Kindergarten. In doing so, these two will evaluate the EEP curriculum, work with K-5 teachers, work with EEP teachers, and set up the 4/5 curriculum so that we are prepared and ready for the 2021-22 transition to having two certified teachers in these classrooms.

The EEP Director will mentor the EEP staff and assist them on instructional strategies, parenting issues/concerns, or any issues that may arise. Note: It is not the responsibility of this position to evaluate any staff.

Employment Responsibilities:

Work cooperatively with Teaching Assistants, EEP Director, the Principal and K-8 teachers on appropriate curriculum to ensure vertical alignment. Evaluate our current Religious education program at the EEP level to ensure that it directly aligns to our K-8 curriculum. Regularly participate in SJS faculty meetings. Regularly participate in PLC meetings. Meet with the Principal and the EEP Director and Assistant EEP Director to organize and facilitate a plan to clearly communicate with each parent on a daily basis.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Two years experience in the Early Childhood field
  • Trained in all STARS training up to level 2
  • CDA or Associates degree in Early Childhood Development/Education
  • CPR/First Aid (Infant-Toddler) Certified

EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAM: EARLY CHILDHOOD AIDE

St. Joseph School is seeking an Early Childhood Aide that is very outgoing, caring, reliable and able to work part-time hours in the morning/afternoon or able to work full-time.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:

All classroom aides' primary role is to work directly with students in the whole group, small group, or one-on-one instruction. Aides work under the direction of the lead classroom educator, and under supervision of the principal and the Early Childhood Director.

Major Responsibilities (including but not limited to, under teacher direction and Principal supervision):

  • Working with students
  • Clerical tasks
  • Correcting work
  • Center set up and clean up
  • Inputting into databases for attendance
  • Taking kids to and from specialist classes and restroom breaks
  • Recess duty
  • Coordinating and participating in field trips
  • Managing online sign-ups for parent volunteers
  • Assisting with online communication to parents overseen by lead teacher
  • Helping with physical environment of the classroom, i.e. bulletin boards, set up and break down
